Unlike their competitors, Canon doesn’t have a new SLR camera on the market. So the task for this website was to create a campaign with a strong user experience to prolong the lifespan of existing product.
Mediacatalist called me in to take the creative lead of this project. We developed 3 user scenarios where the visitors of the site can experience the camera’s key features: Wilderness Wonderland, Urban Paradise and Discovery Woods.
The scenarios play in a 2 and half environment based on a 3D engine programmed especially for this project. The promotional campaign site went together with the offline campaign created in collaboration with Cayenne Amsterdam and was a big success in the Netherlands.
